Fundraising and Special Events Committee
The Fundraising Committee is all about the money! Funds to drive all AFETT sub-committees and their projects (with a huge focus on Special Events) are raised through this dynamic and ideas-oriented committee. The committee is structured so that there is a fundraising representative available to all other committees (Special Events, Monthly Meetings, Membership, Communications, Public Advocacy and Finance). This committee is not about the clichéd “begging for donations” scenario - it is about effective marketing! We intend to partner with corporate citizens and build long-term relationships that are mutually beneficial. Fundraising needs hard-working, enthusiastic, people-oriented members who can really sell AFETT and its programmes. The more of a cross section of professionals that we have in our membership, the better!
The AFETT Programmes-Special Events Committee is responsible for the conceptualisation, planning and coordination of all major events hosted by the Association. The Committee ensures that all AFETT events are executed efficiently and successfully and are branded with the Association's trademark of professionalism and excellence.

The committee seeks to ensure that it provides a forum for the discussion / presentation of activities relevant to the changing needs of female professionals in Trinidad & Tobago.
