2015 Mentorship Programme in Progress

The first batch of AFETT Mentors was trained on Saturday 19th September 2015 by Consultant Nigel Wall, thanks to sponsorship from Guardian Asset Management, Body NV Esthetics and Conventus ConsultInc.

Social Outreach Director, Charlene Pedro, then met with Ms. Hospedales, Social Welfare Officer of the St. Dominic's Children's Home, to finalise arrangements for the 4-week Programme.

The 2015 Programme was officially started on Saturday 24th October with 6 mentors and 5 girls. The objective of the first session was to get to know the girls and for them to discover a bit about themselves.  Issues discussed included personality types, communication skills and ideas for future careers.

Leneika Melville, AFETT'S Featured Entrepreneur for September, shared her experience of using her God-given gift to start her own cosmetology business.  After sharing with the mentees how to create a Vision Board, the girls have to complete their own Vision Board and present at the next session on Saturday 31st October.  Supplies for the first session was sponsored by Conventus Consultinc.
