ASK AFETT - March 2nd 2017

ASK AFETT is a column in the Newsday meant to address issues and concerns of professionals seeking advice to assist in progressing in their careers.

Our first installment of the Association's "ASK AFETT" feature appeared in Newsday's business section on Thursday March 2, 2017, and will be appearing from now on.

In these weekly columns, we have our members tackle questions of interest to professional women like yourselves. The first column entitled "What Every Millennial Woman Should Do Before Entering the Workplace", is written by the AFETT's Past President (2015/2016), Cavelle Joseph.

The question of the week was:

"Dear AFETT. I am about to finish my education and begin my working life / professional career. How do I prepare for this important next step to ensure that I am successful?" ~ Unsure Where to Begin
