AFETT Welcomes its new Directors

Caron Greaves - Membership Director

Caron Greaves is our new Membership Director and an accomplished HR consultant and lecturer, but who are her personal heroes? We asked Caron five questions, so we can get to know her better.

1) What upcoming AFETT event are you most looking forward to?

We are closing out a tremendously successful 2015 AFETT calendar of activities with a must attend Christmas Social at Toppers at Rust Street. Port of Spain. It is going to be epic. Come and reconnect with members you have not seen in a while. Dance and enjoy the delicious buffet items available and share a drink as we consider resolutions for 2016!

2) Someone is considering joining AFETT, convince them in three words.

Networking, Engaging and Fun!

3) Give us a hint about your plans as AFETT's Membership Director. What should our members look forward to?

Phew, I had to hit the ground running in this new role as Director of Membership. So far, I have been engaged in an outreach effort to personalise contact with members. Nothing like a phone call to invite dominant members to get on board with our initiatives.

We will be activating a Members Skills Repository. Imagine accessing all our business services and products, readily available at your fingertips in one database. So stay tuned.

We miss you, so come back in 2016. Let's roll up our proverbial shelves and assist with building a better T&T community.

4) Name some of your personal heroes.

The matriarchs of my family (Grandmother and Mother), Oprah Winfrey and Fr. Clyde Harvey.

5) What New Year's resolution should every female executive in Trinidad make in 2016?

Commit to some aspect of personal development. Every day we awake to new and exciting opportunities to live, love and laugh. I encourage you to reengage in 2016.
