AFETT in Collaboration with the Ministry of Community Development
The Board of Directors is extremely pleased to be collaborating with the Ministry of Community Development, Culture and the Arts to host the REACH Mentorship Programme in selected communities in Trinidad and Tobago. The formal launch held on Saturday 14th May at the Gasparillo Community Centre was attended by Minister of Community Development , Culture and the Arts Dr. Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, MP for St. Ann's East and the Honourable Nicole Olivierre, MP for La Brea.
The first two classes have been held over the past two Saturdays at the Gasparillo venue and will move on to La Brea later in the year. The REACH Mentorship Programme will be extended to other communities over the coming months. We therefore take the opportunity to extend an invitation to persons - members and non-members - who would be interested in being trained as AFETT Mentors. Let's help to shape a young girl's future!
