AFETT Invited to Speak at the TTAM Biennial Conference

The Trinidad and Tobago Association of Midwives (TTAM) has invited AFETT's President, Yolande Agard-Simmons, to speak at its Biennial Conference on September 28, 2018.

This educational activity facilitates the continuing professional development of our midwives and enhances the quality of midwifery care to the nation’s childbearing family.

This year’s theme is “Midwives leading the way with quality care”. In Trinidad, Midwives are able to establish an independent practice as a business, a service that more and more women are requesting.

The Trinidad & Tobago Association of Midwives (TTAM) is the only professional organization representing midwives in Trinidad & Tobago. As a professional body, the Association is committed to advancing the practice of midwifery and the empowerment of women in the area of sexual and reproductive health of women and girls.
